Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort - A Sustainable Destination

The staff were extremely helpful with organising drivers for us and were fast at replying to my many questions on WhatsApp. They helped to organise our travel via train from Da Nang to Hue, organised the train tickets and driver to pick us up when we arrived in Hue. My friend left her headphones in the hotel room and the staff organised for them to be delivered to us before we left the country. Very much recommend, thanks for a great stay!

The resort is really beautiful and clean, it is a place to relax. The staff were fantastic. Among other resorts we saw in the surroundings, this was the best. Especially because it is respectful for the environment and not invasive to nature and village (unlike others). There is a free shuttle to the old town. As a recommendation, the old town is full of tourists and has not nicely evolved to an amusement park style. We went there in the evenings just for dinner and a small walk, this was enough to not get upset by the mass tourism. The best: enjoying the more authentic area nearby the hotel taking the free bikes they offer.

We absolutely loved our stay and would visit again and recommend it to anyone. It was a stunning hotel, with very friendly staff who went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The spa was wonderful and we both had a great massage. Our villa had a private pool which was offered to us as an upgrade option when we arrived. It was incredible, so clean, nicely decorated, spacious, and felt luxurious. The food was also great at the restaurant and at breakfast. The hotel was in a lovely quiet area and it was very convenient to have the free shuttle bus that took us in and out of town each day. 10/10 stay!

Where to start! As a family of 4 looking for some chilled time in Vietnam this hotel was perfect! Rooms and beds are small so be sure to upgrade to a larger room if you have children. We were made to feel so welcome at this hotel, all the staff went to extra effort to get to know us and the children and nothing was too much hassle. The pool facilities were lovely, swimming pool was big and all very clean. The shower of water in the pool was exciting everytime it came on, it was as if we were swimming in the rain! The spa was very nice and the massage I had was very good. We took part in all the activities that could be arranged through the hotel, the members of staff who took us to these activities were great, helpful and welcoming. Our children got involved in all the activities on offer, their favourite was the Vietnamese lessons, the ladies who gave the lessons were so kind, patient and encouraging. We were pleased this hotel was just a shuttle ride away from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An, it was really a little haven and we would recommend anyone visiting this area stays there!

Lovely spot, great swimming pool, fantastic food but mainly the kindness and professionalism of all the staff. A special mention to Ms Thuy (restaurant manager), Mr Tung (swimming pool staff) and Ms Nhunhg (reception staff), particularly went above and beyond for us. Thanks to all again. Lydia M.
